ArmInfo. As of 11:00 on August 26, 131 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Armenia. This was announced by the Unified Information Center. Another 264 patients have recovered, according to the source.
In total, 43,067 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the republic,
36,726 people recovered, 861 died. Over the past day, the disease
has claimed the lives of three people aged 58, 63 and 79 years; they
all had accompanying chronic diseases.
Over the past day, 4 deaths were also recorded when coronavirus
infection was confirmed in patients, but death occurred due to other
diseases. Thus, the total number of such cases has reached 264.
Currently, 5,216 patients are receiving actual treatment. In total,
198569 tests for coronavirus were carried out in the republic (of
which 1696 - in the last day).
