ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan, in Moscow on the sidelines of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum, met with Director of the
Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia (FSMTC
of Russia) Dmitry Shugaev and Director of the state company
Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev.
As press secretary of the RA Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan
stated on her Facebook page, during the meeting the current state of
the Armenian-Russian bilateral military-technical cooperation and
forthcoming activities were discussed.
The interlocutors highly appreciated the progress of the existing
contracts, reached agreements on the conditions and ways of
implementing a number of new contracts.
The sides expressed mutual opinion on the importance of establishing
joint ventures by private military- industrial companies and
organizing production.
Tonoyan also visited the pavilion of the "Tactical Missile Armament"
company, got acquainted with the latest equipment produced, samples
of long-range and accurate missiles. Then the delegation of the
Ministry of Defense discussed cooperation with the company's
management.
David Tonoyan also visited the pavilions of a number of other
enterprises cooperating with the RA Ministry of Defense.
